A jubilant sellout crowd was on hand yesterday to honor White Sox favorite Paul Konerko and watch as one of the truly great players in franchise history had his #14 retired. When the moving tribute ended, Paulie became one of 10 Sox legends to earn the honor, joining Nellie Fox (2), Harold Baines (3), Luke Appling (4), Minnie Minoso (9), Luis Aparicio (11), Ted Lyons (16), Billy Pierce (19), Frank Thomas (35) and Carlton Fisk (72).
