Theo Epstein returns to Fenway Park: ‘I’m kind of on cloud nine.’

BOSTON – Baseball is a game built on its history. Nostalgia thrives in this environment. If you’re someone who loves this game, it’s hard not to get sentimental about certain things, Fenway Park prime among them.

From the Green Monster in left to Pesky’s Pole in right, Fenway is loaded with charisma. There is no shortage of superstars to have played here either, with Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Carl Yazstremski, Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz and so many other Hall of Fame caliber players who have donned a Red Sox uniform. Fenway has seen its fair share of history and compelling stories; along with Wrigley Field, the two ballparks are the crown jewels of baseball.
