Cubs-Braves Postponed Due to Forecast for Inclement Weather Throughout the Day

Saturday’s game between the Cubs and Braves was postponed due to forecast for inclement weather throughout the day.

A make-up date has not been officially announced.

Reports from Wrigley Field point to a possible make-up date of July 7, which is a mutual off-day for the two teams. The Braves open a three-game series on the South Side with the Sox on July 8.

The Cubs play the last series before the All-Star break in Pittsburgh beginning on Friday, July 8 (July 8-10). The only issue with that open date is that would mean 24 games in 24 days for the Cubs leading up to the break.
