The Chicago Cubs showed last postseason that they were good, but not good enough. They squeaked into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates in a one-game wild card playoff backed by a complete game gem from Ace Jake Arrieta.
They would then take down the St. Louis Cardinals in the Division series, to advance to the National league Championship series against the Mets, only to be swept away in four straight games. Well South sides, I don’t believe that’s going to happen this year. Chicago has what it takes to play for a World Series title this fall.
