CHICAGO -- Former Boston Celtics first-round draft pick R.J. Hunter appears set to join the Chicago Bulls.
He had a locker with his nameplate before Chicago's season opener against Boston, though the Bulls had not announced the move as of Thursday evening.
The 28th pick in the 2015 draft, Hunter was let go by Boston earlier this week. The Georgia State product averaged 2.7 points in 36 games as a rookie for the Celtics last season.
