Thomas Walkup announced on his Instagram account that he had signed a contract for the Chicago Bulls training camp this year. Media Day for the Bulls is this coming Monday, Sept. 26.
Those that watched Walkup at Stephen F. Austin during his four years regard him as an all-around, 6’5″ tweener with more of a shooting guard’s game that works the pick-and-roll well. He can handle the ball and has keen court vision.
In college, Walkup scored 18.6 points and shot 58.5 percent from the floor went with his 4.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game in his senior year.
