Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose suffered yet another early-season injury in Friday's home game against the Cleveland Cavs, drawing audible gasps from the home crowd in Chicago.

According to the Bulls' official Twitter, Rose suffered a left ankle sprain and was officially listed as questionable to come back into the game:

Rose rolled his ankle in the second quarter against LeBron James and company. He returned in the third quarter but remained out of action for the entirety of the fourth quarter.

The Bulls didn't change Rose's status when the game went to overtime, but Rose was sent back to the locker room to apply ice to the affected ankle.

No indication into the severity of the sprain has been given as of this writing. Seeing that Rose was not immediately listed as out of the contest after suffering the injury, it's very possible that the team dodged a major bullet when it comes to potential time lost.
