NBA Trade Rumors: NBA "worried" about Bulls moves for Melo, Arron Afflalo

In today's batch of NBA trade rumors, the NBA is currently bracing for the Chicago Bulls to build an absolute juggernaut via trade and free agency this offseason.

According to ESPN/ABC NBA analyst and Grantland founder Bill Simmons, other teams are already beginning to fret about what the Bulls will look like in 2014-15:

Per ESPN New York's Ian Begley, "according to league sources, [New York Knicks star Carmelo] Anthony has talked to at least one high-profile person who lives in Chicago about what it's like to be famous in the Windy City."

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Anthony will opt out of his current contract and test free agency. With this news, the Bulls have emerged as favorites to land him on the open market.

Combined with Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski's report that the Bulls are aggressively seeking a trade for Orlando Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo, and the Bulls have the potential of putting an All-Star lineup on the court next season.

Afflalo averaged a career-high 18.2 points and 3.4 assists per game in 2013-14, along with shooting 42.7 percent from downtown for a Magic team that languished near the bottom of the Eastern Conference the entire season.

We will have more on the rumors surrounding the Bulls as additional information is made available.
