The NBA is in full swing right now even if there are no games going on. That is because NBA free agency officially kicked off on July 1, and then chaos truly began for a lot of teams in the league. The Chicago Bulls weren’t openly courting any free agents from other teams who were set to hit the market, but the main goal was to secure their own core players (Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy) who were due to make more money.
