Chicago Blackhawks Roundtable: John Hayden And Second-Line Centers

It’s certainly not a guarantee that the Chicago Blackhawks have wrapped up the Central Division and Western Conference titles, but they seem to be approaching the regular season’s final two weeks like it is.

At this point, coach Joel Quenneville seems to be tinkering with his lineup and trying to find out which forward units are the most effective. That’s included finding a home for rookie John Hayden, who burst onto the NHL scene with three points in his first six games.

Hayden has primarily spent time on the top line alongside Jonathan Toews and Richard Panik.
