One of the hardest parts of any NFL head coach has got to be facing the media when their team is going through challenges, and after the Bears third straight loss to start off the 2016 season, John Fox was short and curt when addressing the media on Monday.
When asked about the condition of quarterback Jay Cutler, who sprained his throwing thumb during Week 2 versus the Philadelphia Eagles, Fox replied "He's day to day." Pressed for more info, he reiterated Cutler had a sprained thumb, and that they are taking it one day at a time.
