Alshon Jeffery calls himself, Brandon Marshall best receiving duo in NFL

In today's Bears news update, Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery believes that, along with superstar wideout Brandon Marshall, the Bears have best wide receiving duo in the entire NFL.

“I’m not the type of person that brags a lot about anything, but I feel that last year, what we did, we were at the top of the list as the two best receivers,” Jeffery told the Sporting News, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk . “But that was last year. This year we have to set our goal and try our best to do the same thing we did last year, if not better.”

While not attempting to brag, Jeffery made it abundantly clear that the duo has high expectations when it comes to their play on the field.

“We motivate each other,” Jeffery said. “We compete against each other and we’ve got the same goals. We both want to win the Super Bowl and we want greatness.”

If the Chicago Bears can lock up Jeffery long-term after signing Marshall to an extension this offseason, that Super Bowl trophy may very well find its way to the Windy City.
