Lack of game time under Conte frustrated Fabregas initially

Cesc Fabregas admitted that the lack of game time when Antonio Conte first took the reins at Chelsea really upset him, but maturity has helped him cope.

The Spain international notched up his 300th Premier League appearance in the Blues' 2-1 win over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

That was only his sixth league start this season, with his other 11 appearances coming from the bench.

Despite not getting as much game time as he desired, Fabregas said the experience during this campaign has changed him as a player.

"In the beginning, when I didn't play, I told people to not even speak to me because I was really upset," Fabregas told the media.
