Former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Bosnich says Alvaro Morata ‘has big shoes to fill’ as the striker prepares to replace Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.

The Premier League club on Wednesday confirmed they had reached an agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Morata, who is set to join the Blues for a club-record fee.

The 24-year-old will reportedly cost the Blues around £70million, and he will arrive at the club as a direct replacement for countryman Costa, who has been allowed to leave the club after an apparent fall out with manager Antonio Conte.
