The Charlotte Hornets were defeated by the Miami Heat in Game Seven of their first round series. The Hornets have now been eliminated from the playoffs. This might have been the team’s worst game this season and it was their biggest game of the year.
With the loss, Charlotte has still not won a playoff series since the 2001-2002 season. That is the third longest current streak in the NBA. The only teams with a longer current streak are the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Hornets fought hard in the first half to keep the game close but they were down by 12 at halftime.
