Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has recently agreed to a four-year/$52M extension with the Charlotte Hornets, which will keep him in Charlotte for at lest the next five seasons. This is a huge win for both the Hornets and MKG. It was necessary for the Hornets to lock up Michael early and before he hit the free agent market. Gilchrist wanted to be apart of the future in Charlotte and the Hornets wanted him to be on of the focal points going forward.
Kidd-Gilchrist will be entering his fourth season in the NBA and with the Charlotte Hornets.
