CHARLOTTE, N.C. - With Mother Nature dropping buckets of rain on North Carolina the past few days and more expected to hit in Mississippi this weekend, Charlotte Softball's midweek contest at Appalachian State has been cancelled and their weekend series at Southern Miss has been moved to Friday and Saturday.
The App State cancellation marks the fourth time inclement weather has forced the Niners to remove a game from the schedule, including Elon on March 15th, USC Upstate on April 5th and FIU just this past weekend on April 23rd.
Coach Aimee DeVos and the 49ers will now turn their sights to Conference USA-foe Southern Miss.
