Charlotte, N.C.- Behind three double-figure figures and a solid defensive effort, the Charlotte 49ers (6-2) defeated Pac-12 foe Oregon State (3-6), 69-66, in front of an electric Halton Arena crowd.
""It was another great win; a really big win for our program.," Charlotte coach Mark Price said. "Oregon State has a lot of big players. They made the NCAA tournament last year, they know how to win and are really big and physical. We were down an inside player as well, and our overall effort on both ends of the floor was tremendous."
Jon Davis led the 49ers with his eighth double-figure scoring game and his fifth 20-point scoring game of the season with 22 points.
