CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Due to inclement weather in the Charlotte area, Sunday's softball game between the 49ers and the FIU Panthers has been cancelled. The game has not been rescheduled.
The two teams faced each other on Saturday, splinting a doubleheader with each side earning a run-rule victory.
Charlotte will now have an extra day of rest before traveling to Boone, N.C. for a Wednesday non-conference match-up with Appalachian State. The Niners will then make their way to Hattiesburg, Miss. for a three-game series with Conference USA-foe Southern Miss on Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th.
