CHARLESTON, W. Va. – Charlotte baseball flexed their muscles blasting off four times, two by Logan Sherer, picking up a 7-4 victory at Marshall on Friday afternoon. The 49ers win their third-straight having cranked out 46 hits in this 3-0, three-game week.
"We could have had a letdown after yesterday and we did not," stated Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "Our guys came out focused. It's a good win. Anytime you can win on the road in this league is good."
Charlotte (31-22, 17-12 C-USA) struck first again on Friday as Sherer drilled a one-out triple off the wall in center before coming in on Reece Hampton's RBI double down the right field line.
