CHARLOTTE, N.C. – All nine starters drove in or scored at-least one run as Charlotte rolled to a 13-7 victory over Louisiana Tech in the Conference USA series-opener on Friday night. Due to incoming weather on Sunday, both teams will finish off the series with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m.
"We're lucky we came out on top," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "It was kind of a weird game. The game has a lot of walks out of pitchers who haven't walked hardly anyone all year. We've got a really difficult task tomorrow with two games.
