CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers won the back end of Saturday's doubleheader with Louisiana Tech to earn the Conference USA series victory with a 4-2 win in the rubber game. The Bulldogs took a wild game one 12-7 before the Niners rallied to clinch their second-straight league series and their fifth in five opportunities.
"I'm really proud of our guys to win the series," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "Things didn't go right for us in the first game, but we regrouped, focused in and won game two. I'm proud of our team, it's a team win.
