CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team moved their win streak to seven on Saturday sweeping both ends of a doubleheader 7-4 and 12-5 over Middle Tennessee to sweep the three-game Conference USA series. This marks the Niners second-straight series sweep, their third of the year, having also won seven-in-a-row in C-USA play. After Saturday's action around the league, the 49ers find themselves in sole possession of second, two back of league leading Southern Miss.
