Baseball Cruises to 8th-Straight Win with 16-1 Rout

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball pounded out a season high 20 hits while tying a season-best scoring 16 times during a 16-1 rout of visiting Kennesaw State on Tuesday night. Every starter had a hit, as the 20 equaled a team batting average of .488 on the night. A nine-run, nine-hit seventh blew open Tuesday night's win.

"I thought Kennesaw State played better than us for the first four or five innings," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "Then, we just hit another gear there in the late innings. We had some good, quality at-bats and it was just easier for us today.
