What do you get when you have two great teams and two great programs squaring off?
Usually, you get a great game.
On Tuesday afternoon from Central Michigan University’s Margo Jonker Stadium two of the most decorated and celebrated college softball teams from the state of Michigan will square off in what has become an annual showdown.
As it is the Chippewas (17-8) will host the 19th-ranked Michigan Wolverines (22-7-1) at 4 p.m. Tuesday in a non-conference game that has the makings of being a good one.
Mighty Michigan comes in with an eight-game winning streak while Margo Jonker’s Chippewas have won 16 of their last 18 games after having their nine-game winning streak snapped Saturday.
