Central Michigan University Athletics Director Dave Heeke is expected to be hired to the same position at the University of Arizona.
Mark Snyder at the Detroit Free Press first reported the hiring of Heeke at Arizona. Multiple sources close to the CMU athletics department have confirmed the story.
Heeke was introduced as Central Michigan Athletics Director on Dec. 8, 2005, and began instilling the slogan of “Championship Culture” in relation to Chippewas athletics. He replaced the retiring Herb Deromedi as CMU AD.
