Case Western Reserve University junior Justin Phan's 85-yard punt return for a touchdown against the University of Chicago on September 3rd has been nominated for the 2016 Geico Play of the Year.
Phan's return, the second-longest in school history, was one of four nominated for the week one finalist. Fans can go online to https://www.facebook.com/bestofcollegefootball/app/684496621645043/ to vote for Phan's return until 11:59 AM Central on Monday October 3.
The week one winner will be among five finalists for the Play of the Year. At the conclusion of the regular season, a panel of college football experts will select one play for the Play of the Year.
