Case Western Reserve University junior sprinter Andrew Ibibo and junior thrower Cassandra Laios were named the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for track and field, following their performances at the W&L Track Carnival at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia this past weekend.
Ibibo won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.11, which is currently the third-best time in Division III and fastest time in the UAA. He also claimed a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.72, which is again currently ranked first in the UAA.
