CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Follow the travel schedule of head coach Ron Rivera if you want to know which players the Carolina Panthers are considering for the No. 8 pick of NFL draft.
LSU running back Leonard Fournette is one of several draft prospects Rivera wants to "get in front of as much" as possible prior to the first round on April 27.
Rivera said on Wednesday at the NFL owners meeting in Phoenix that he planned to be at LSU's pro day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on April 5 to watch Fournette.
He likely will meet privately with the 6-foot, 240-pound running back who has been projected in many mock drafts as Carolina's first-round pick.
