Charlotte, N.C. — Carolina Panthers interim general manager Marty Hurney didn't waste much time after returning to the franchise, signing Pro Bowl right guard Trai Turner to a contract extension on Thursday.
Turner announced via Twitter Thursday afternoon that he received a contract extension, which would keep him in Charlotte for the next four years.

Turner’s new deal is worth $45 million with $20 million guaranteed, according Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
