The offseason has arrived and the Carolina Panthers along with teams across the NFL are gearing up for what should be yet another wild year of free agency. From franchise tags to big-time, draft day trades and everything in between, the NFL offseason is a roller coaster ride of a “season” in itself.
For Carolina, it’ll be one of the biggest in recent years.
After returning much of the same NFC Championship core from 2015, the Panthers 2016 season saw a dramatic downturn in performance. From 15-1 to 6-10, it’s clear that this offseason sticking to the status quo will not suffice any longer.
