The Panthers have some questions to answer in the very near future. Here's how they stack up for me.
1. Will Dave Gettleman finally target a top free agent?
The Panthers have around $50M in cap space which is more than enough to add more than one high profile free agent. But that hasn't been his MO since coming to Carolina. Name one high profile signing he's made? I can't think of one. The Panthers are rarely even active in the first week of free agency, much less signing players. Gettleman always waits on the 2nd tier signings, to the rosters detriment you could say.
