Recently, David Newton of ESPN wrote an article about the Carolina Panthers’ free safety, Kurt Coleman and his egregious lack of a nickname. Coleman is on a team of super personalities. Cam Newton is known as “Superman.” Josh Norman is the “Dark Knight” or “Batman.” Luke Kuechly is in a seemingly never-ending campaign with Pepsi to be nicknamed (Cam Newton’s “Captain America” seems to fit perfectly in my opinion). Former Panther, Greg Hardy, took it upon himself to nickname the entire defense “Monsters Inc,” and he proceeded to give every Panthers’ defender a monster nickname. Of course, he was the “Kraken.
Give that boy a nickname! Kurt Coleman deserves it.
