One of the questions when Marty Hurney took over as interim GM of the Carolina Panthers was how much freedom he would have to make deals past this upcoming season. Well, that question was quickly answered after the team signed guard Trai Turner to a four-year extension and made him one of the top paid guards in the NFL.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Turner’s new deal is four-years, $45 million with $20.5 million guaranteed.
