2016 NFL Draft: Why despite the Super Bowl the Panthers are unlikely to take an offensive tackle in the first round

Given the way Super Bowl 50 turned out it may be hard to convince Panthers' fans that offensive tackles have lost their importance, but I think Gettleman has showed us that he places greater value at other positions.

While listening to The College Draft with Ross Tucker, Dan Hatman, of The Scouting Academy, spoke of his relationship with Dave Getttleman (they previously worked together with the Giants). The interview starts around the 20 min mark of episode #24. (highly recommended)

Hatman states "to see it work that well, to see that offensive line that we all just talked so poorly about for years, and see them become this well-tooled machine using guys like Remmers and Norwell who no-one wanted.
