Rookie Damiere Byrd has plenty of work to do in order to make the final roster of the Carolina Panthers, but apparently he's impressed quite a few people along the way. According to David Newton of ESPN, Byrd is proving to be more than just a ridiculously speedy wideout.
"Damiere Byrd makes a one-handed, over-the-shoulder catch while skirting the left sideline. Byrd makes a nice catch deep over the middle on a slant route. Byrd cradles a deep pass down the right sideline.
