RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today issued the following statement regarding Charlotte Checkers Head Coach Mark Morris, who is leaving the organization to take the head coach position at St. Lawrence University.
“We respect Mark’s decision to return home to coach at St. Lawrence,” said Francis. “We thank him for his work in Charlotte this season and wish him nothing but the best with the Saints.”
