Hanifin to Join "Hockey is For Everyone" Banquet

RALEIGH, NC – Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Noah Hanifin will visit the Carolina Ale House location in downtown Raleigh on Tuesday, Feb. 9, for two separate events as part of the team’s community day for February.

Hanifin first will join the Capital City Crew’s end-of-season dinner at 6:30 p.m. As part of the NHL’s “Hockey is for Everyone” initiative, the Capital City Crew provides an opportunity for inner-city youth, ages 8-14 to play ice hockey. Through partnerships with the Wake County Boys & Girls Club, Raleigh Youth Hockey Association (RYHA) and the Hurricanes, this program teaches children life skills and positive character traits through the sport of ice hockey.
