Carolina Hurricanes, Trevor Carrick Agree To Terms on One-Year Deal; Qualifying Offers Due by 5:00 Today

The Carolina Hurricanes announced Monday morning that the team and defenseman Trevor Carrick agreed to terms on a one year deal. The two-way contract will pay Carrick $670,000 on the NHL level and $77,500 on the AHL level for the season.

Carrick appeared in 57 games with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL during the 2016-17 season tallying 16 points (4 goals, 12 assists). Carrick has totaled 90 career AHL points in 203 games, all with the Checkers.

Carrick was one of six players who were in line for restricted free agency beginning Saturday.
