It’s been 10 years since the then RBC Center was sold out every night during the Canes magical Stanley Cup Run, but short memories around the league forget what it looks like when the Traingle is passionate about hockey.
The Carolina Hurricanes and their fans have heard a lot about recent attendance numbers. The past season saw a dip in attendance to a low of 12,203 average, worst in the league. The stadium was only 65.3% full on a nightly basis which was also dead last in the league during the 2015-2016 season.
Due to the down attendance the Carolina Hurricanes have been the center of relocation rumors for the past couple of seasons.
