The Carolina Hurricanes have some choices to make on the blue line. Earlier this week, I touched based on the Forwards roster that could be seen on opening night. Again, Caniacs are asking, “What will our Blue Line look like?” Well in this week’s Tweetmail, Michael Smith thinks the Defensive pairings will look as follows: Slavin–Faulk; Hanifin–Pesce; Hainsey–Murphy. I believe these were the same Defensive pairings from last season that the Carolina Hurricanes used. However, the next question is, “Who are our six/seventh defensemen?” Ryan Murphy, who has 124 games of NHL experience under his belt, at this point in time.
