The season that started with so little expectations ended just that way. It was a disappointing season, where many player underperformed and the stats back that up. There were a few bright spots with the progression of Justin Faulk, the emergence of Victor Rask and the solid job of the coaching staff. Now the spotlight falls on Ron Francis and it's his time to make improve the roster and the franchise.
The Carolina Hurricanes ended the season with a nice road victory over the Flyers. The game was rather close, but Carolina was able to capitalize a little more and walked away with the win.
