The Calgary Flames’ struggle with consistency continues.

Surrendering four straight goals to the St. Louis Blues, they dropped a 6-4 decision and lost their second game in a row.

Head coach Glen Gulutzan is struggling for answers again and it’s not their goaltending that appears to be the problem.

Calgary’s power-play is still dismal, dropping to a lowly 1-for-25 early this season and 0-for-22 in the last five games. And they are still missing consistent big-game performances from their young stars (with the big contracts) Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan.

Newcomer Kris Versteeg scored twice, including a spirit-lifting marker with 4:54 remaining in the third as former Blues forward Troy Brouwer acted as a screen.
