GLENDALE, Ariz. — Calgary Flames GM Brad Treliving theorized Sam Bennett’s father may be making his son do too many chores at home.
Forward Michael Frolik figured it’s a sign Bennett must start producing more points at the Saddledome.
Head coach Bob Hartley said it’s simply a sign of the kid’s competitiveness.
As for the Flames forward, he didn’t even realize how much success he’s had during road games so far in his rookie season, nor have a theory.
A freshman campaign is supposed to be overwhelming for youngsters, but not so far for Bennett.
