ANAHEIM - Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf is well aware of what got away from his team two time zones away in Game 6 of the Western Conference final, and he’s not too pleased about it.
It’s been eight years since he’s made it to the Stanley Cup final, after all, and the gold-medal winning Canadian Olympian knows how elusive the opportunity can be.
So with two days off before the one-game showdown with the Chicago Blackhawks for a berth in this year’s final, the Ducks now must find away to assert themselves in a similar manner to what they did earlier in the series.
