Congratulations go out to Davis Webb, who is going to get his NFL shot with the New York Giants. Webb was drafted with the 87th overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The California Golden Bears quarterback becomes the second quarterback to be drafted in as many years. Jared Goff was selected with the first overall pick by the Los Angeles Rams last season.
Webb transferred to Cal for his final year of eligibility and did more than a capable job of filling in to fit Goff’s shoes.
