Everton remain hopeful of capturing both Burnley defender Michael Keane and Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Toffees are pushing to complete a £25million deal for Keane with negotiations having progressed steadily over the past few weeks.
Keane has interest from other clubs but knows he will play regularly at Goodison Park.
Gylfi Sigurdsson remains their No 1 target though Leicester City have also expressed an interest in the Iceland international.
Manager Ronald Koeman is a big fan of the £30million-rated Swansea midfielder and is working hard on a potential deal despite denials of a bid from Swansea.
