Sabres sign Vaclav Karabacek to entry-level deal

The Sabres beat the clock with Vaclav Karabacek, signing the forward to a three-year entry-level deal before the June 1 deadline. If the Sabres didn't sign him before next Wednesday he would be able to re-enter the draft.

Karabacek scored 18 goals and 12 assists in 47 games between Baie-Comeau Drakkar and the Moncton Wildcats this season. He scored six goals and three assists in the playoffs. The Sabres drafted the winger in the second round of the 2014 draft.
