This past Saturday, the Buffalo Sabres hosted the St. Louis Blues. When the Sabres got their first power play of the afternoon, Buffalo Sabres color commentator Rob Ray threw out a quick fact that the Buffalo Sabres had the league’s #1 power play! I knew the Buffalo Sabres had a decent power play, but I didn’t know it was that good. Unfortunately, we had to wait for Buffalo’s fourth power play that game so see the magic in action.
Last night, when Buffalo hosted the Chicago Blackhawks, the Sabres had a few opportunities on the power play. Sadly, the Blackhawks were able to cool off the Sabres’ red hot power play.
