Today, the Buffalo Sabres host local boy Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks. The lukewarm Sabres are riding high on a 3 game win streak while the Hawks swoop in with a 5 game win streak. It would be a great boost for the Sabres to come out with a win, but any points would be great in their struggle for a Wild Card spot before the NHL Bye Week.
As everyone in WNY, Southern Ontario, and North-Western PA knows, Patrick Kane will want to put on a show for his home town and America…unfortunately this late afternoon/evening’s game is being broadcasted by NBC (because all NBC wants to is showcase the major markets: CHI, BOS, NYI, PHI, PIT, WASH, yawn…fudge the Canadian teams).
